Turn off email checking Tools | Options | General tab
ucheck Send and receive at start up and uncheck check for new messages every
xxx minutes.
Tirn off email checking (Tools | Accounts | Mail | <account name> |
Properties
Uncheck "Include this account......."
Now, just click the small arrow next to the Send/Recv button and select the
account you want to check.
