Background Story:
Upgraded from Win ME to XP Pro for my business computer. Email is now gone
because of file structure change I guess (from FAT 32 to NTFS). Recovered
email folder using data recovery software. I have the entire old outlook
folder and I am sure of this because of uniquely named folders. The .dbx
files are all there and contain file size (ie some are over 50mb large).
HOWEVER, I can't import them into Outlook Express. It gives me an error
message.
ANY IDEAS?? Please help... a lot of work is down the drain if I can't
restore the files.
Thanks in advance.
It really surprises me that Microsoft doesn't take steps to insure its
customers files. Especially when upgrading from one Microsoft product to
another one. I pay $500 in upgrades for a small office and this is what I
get from Microsoft? Files deleted.
