Take a couple of deep breaths and relax for a bit. Did you ever have OE4
installed on this computer (where the slide show was a standard feature) and
then upgrade to OE5 and later to OE6? If so, see if this link helps you
with the fix:

If still no help, post back and provide more details about your operating
system and its update history. Also include the "complete and exact" error
message you are getting.
