Hi Glenda,

Issue 1 might be caused by a minor problem with the message store. Have you
done routine maintenance which involves compacting files and folders? This
can correct small problems. If there is still a problem a likely problem
folder is the Inbox. These messages could be moved to a new folder or a
backup done of the messages. The Inbox.dbx file could then be deleted to
create a new Inbox file. If the problem still persists a new Outlook Express
Identity could be created (and used).

The only time I've seen the behavior described is after a power failure.
