    First, in your antivirus program, disable email scanning and test if you can
    receive mail. That should fix it. If that fails to do it, right click on
    the Inbox in the Folder List, then click Properties and determine the folder
    where your message store folder is located and write it down. Now close
    Outlook Express. Open Windows Explorer (Winkey+E) and navigate to the store
    folder, find POP3UIDL.dbx and delete it. Reopen Outlook Express and see if
    that fixes it. If neither of those fix it, please post back.
