IE /Outlook Express problem

Keep getting following error message "IE / Outlook express has encountered a
problem and needs to close down. we are sorry for the inconvenience. Close
box and then get the following "Dr Watson Postmortem debugger has a problem
and needs to close. I have gone through a lot of online windows/Outlook/IE
sites cannot find an answer. Have run AD-Aware--Spybot--Registry medic.
McAfee Avent Stinger Macfee Virus program. have XP Home. SP-2 installed all
sucuriy activated.
At this point I am lost, would appreciate any help
