For some reason, a lot of people are getting that error message lately
about a failure to post. You are not alone, so don't worry about the
repost.
You stated: "I've got the "do not save or download" box checked on the
Security tab of the Options menu -- no soap. It's still opening
messages."
There is no box to check as you stated. I assume you mean:
Tools>Options>Security. "Do not allow attachments................."
This applies to *some* attachments only, and does not apply to the
message body itself.
Are we getting closer to the answer?
