Thanks Michael. I'm on the corporate network with both machines (old and
new). I only use OE for newsgroups. Outlook is what I use for email and
that's working fine. Both machines have the required firewall configuration
and antivirus installed, but it still only works on my old machine. It's so
odd, because all day yesterday newgroups worked just fine within OE. No
configuration or applications were installed between that time and today when
the new laptop stopped working. I found some KB articles about manually
removing/reinstalling OE, but they all apply to SP1 and before. I'm afraid
of doing it w/out a doc specifically stating it will work with XP SP2. Any
other ideas? Thanks again...
