Use nslookup and ping -n 1 to be sure that your DNS can find
that site for you otherwise put an appropriate entry in your HOSTS
files.

Here is the result of nslookup using one of worldnet.att.net name
servers. Notice the timeout before the lookup is successful:

<example>
> ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net
Server: ns1.worldnet.att.net
Address: 204.127.129.1

DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.
ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net internet address = 204.127.134.145
worldnet.att.net nameserver = ns1.worldnet.att.net
</example>

Don't worry if the ping -n 1 is unsuccessful. We only want to use it
to load the dnscache.

While you're in the command line also check to see if there is a server
there with that port open:

    telnet ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net 995

Ok. There is. I had my doubts. POP3 with secure protocol is unusual.
