Outlook Express was automiatically compacting my email files. Soon
thereafter, the computer froze. After I rebooted some folder are not
totatlly empty. My inbox have been deleted back to Feb. 2004. The size for
the dbx files for the respective folders are noticeably smaller. Have I lost
all this data or is this information still on the machine in some encryptic
form.

Any help or hope you can provide will be GREATLY appreciated.
