Hi Pete,

Removing and then reinstalling the Hotmail account in Outlook Express may be
needed now. If you can confirm that the address below is the account you're
having problems with I can forward this information to someone who can check
things at the server.

To Repair the Hotmail Folder

1. Quit Outlook Express.

2. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.

3. Include hidden files and folders (Windows 2000 and Windows XP).

4. In the Named box, type Hotmail*.dbx, and then click Find Now.

5. For each file that is found, right-click the file, click Rename,
and then change the extension to xxx.

6. Close the Find Files window, and then start Outlook Express.

7. Click Send and Receive, and then click Hotmail account.

To Remove the Account

1. In Outlook Express, click Tools, and then click Accounts...Mail tab.

2. Select the existing Hotmail e-mail account, and then click Remove.

3. Click Yes, and then click Close.
