In any case, Juno free POP3 access well end on Dec. 1, 2004.

Netscape Web Mail has free access to their SMTP server; but 'sendmail' is a
Unix/Linux MTA program, and not a part of Netscape.

The Netscape mail program and Thunderbird have the same SMTP mail
capabilities. All that the Netscape mail client has extra is the proprietary
access protocols for use with the Netscape Web mail account in IMAP/SMTP
configuration.

If using an alternate port is causing problems with Juno, then it isn't
really a viable options.

You want to keep using MSOE to send email with the SMTP client. You have an
ISP that blocks port 25 out, and becomes unreliable when using a relay
service on an alternate port.
You really only have two options: Netscape, or a relay service with access
on alternate ports. You have ruled them both out. I am afraid that you are
stuck with using Juno's SMTP service.
P.S. I feel like Rip van Winkle. When I went to sleep, "trial" was just a
noun; But when I woke up, it had become a verb, as well.
