Problem with opening Attachments

After having installed MS SP2 CD Outlook Express stopped
using the appropriate applications for opening
attachments. I can save any attachment then open it
properly with its application but cannot open it like
before with OE. When I try to open a PPS File in OE I get
a warning Window saying: Power Point Viewer cannot find
the the file "Document", after pressing OK I get another
warning for the file "and", then "Local"...In a way
Outlook Express is looking for the PPS Application
at "Documents and Settings/Local Settings/Temporaray
Internet Files" instead of Programs Files/Microsoft
Office/PPTVIEW. There is no doubt that in OE registry
there is a corrupt file to direct the opening of PPS files
to Documents and Settings rather than using the apprpriate
appropiate. I reinstalled PowerPoint Viewer and performed
the necessary adjustemnt in Folder Options to no avail.
Can anyboby help me solving this problem. Thanks.
Jean
