I'm on Win XP Pro OE 6.00.2800.1123 SP1 running IE 6
I've used 'compact all folders' many times without incident. I would
go offline and click on Outlook Express folder. I would also close all
folders. Now when I do this it fails at 2/3rds of the way into it with
a error has occured .. I get a box with a message of sorry must close
OE .. would you like to send a eror report to Microsoft?
This happens even after I reboot the machine and it's the only eask
I'm doing. Unfortunately I didn't moticed until later that several of
my folders are now empty. I have over 50 folders. Hundreds of files
scattered across these folders. My questions:
1) How do I r4estore the contents of my folders?
2) How do I make compact work again
3) How do I protectmyself from losing the contents of my folders
Thank you for your consideration.
