Please excuse the fun we may have been having at what may seem to be your
expense, Joe. Rest assured that we've only been laughing *with* you in the
last day or so.

*We* are not *Microsoft* and the MS newsgroups are not MS Tech Support
(which may be reached via http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx). We
everyone of us are volunteers here.

Hmm, we've been waiting for *you* to answer our questions, Joe. Are you not
a native speaker of English? That may explain at least part of the
loggerheads to which we seem to have come. Many of us are multilingual
here, you know. Voulez-vous essayer nos conversations dedans, peut-ĂȘtre,
françaises? ...o forse in italiano?

<blushing> Why, thank you, Joe. As it happens, many of us are in fact poor,
retired or physically disabled folk whose sole contact with the outside
world is through our little keyboards and monitors. May you live long and
prosper...and perhaps consider joining us here and sharing your knowledge
with other users.

The British young lady's name is Kath, not Kate, Adams. And seeing how
you've so far posted to at least five (5) different threads in three (3)
different newsgroups (http://snipurl.com/99dh), none of them being a thread
you began, we've had to copy/paste from posts in one newsgroup to reply to
those in another so that we, at least, can keep track of who said what, to
whom...and when.

As you have freely posted your business's local POP3 and SMTP servers in all
of these threads, it didn't take much to go from 'POP3.jmmresource.com' to
http://www.jmmresource.com/, poorly coded as it may be.

> How did I get 2 questions in this discussion group, I
> could have sworn I only created one here..

It may be because you've had at least two (2) threads with identical
Subjects going in two (2) or (3) newsgroups at the same time, and to
maintain our sanity, at least, one or more of us have crossposted a reply in
one newsgroup to another. For example, the thread to which I am now
replying is and has been crossposted to both the OE6 and WinXP General
newsgroups. [I am replying from the OE6 newsgroup.]

Or it may be because you, possibly inadvertently, began a new thread with
the same Subject. When you do this, your replies very often will not
"thread" properly and instead display as a new thread...to which others
unwittingly may reply, not knowing that a similar converation has been
ongoing in another thread.

This is why we ask that you begin your *own* thread (not post a "Me, too"
reply in another one), in *one* newsgroup, and that you always post further
replies or comments to only that thread.

Have a wonderful evening, Joe!
