The next most-common is using a newsserver which only retains messages for a
very limited time (e.g., 24 hours). Such may be the case with the one you
use, Mikl (from your headers: "Path:

Try using the MS newsserver to access this and other MS newsgroups. No
subscription, no password, and messages are retained on the server for a
minimum of 30 days: http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/resources.htm#setupmsnews
