Query ref OE since SP2 upgrade

Hi Peop's

I've noticed since updating XP to SP2 that if i start OE without a live web
connection it announces that an unknown error has occurred, previously it
would announce that it was now working offline.

Is this a known issue, it causes no other problems, just seems a bit
'untidy' to me.

It seems also that OE still wont remember the user assigned path for saving
attachments, this i believe was something that broke in a previous SP1
update?, any updates on this issue please.
