OE crashes losing emails I'm trying to write, whenever I attempt to access Sent Items

OE crashes losing emails I'm trying to write, whenever I attempt to access
the Sent Items folder. It's driving me crazy!

It has started doing it in the last few days - since I applied a recent
critical update.

Is this a known problem, or have I just got a corrupt Sent Items folder? If
so how can I resolve it?
