Two basic choices. One is install Eudora and import from NS 7 into Eudora,
then from Eudora into Outlook Express. Second is to install a copy of
version 4 of Netscape and import the messages into it, then into Outlook
Express.
For the NS solution:
To import them (NS 6 or higher) you need to install an earlier version such
as NS 4. Many Mozilla or NS beta users already had such on their computers
so its not a problem. Then follow the instructions below:
1) Close all versions of Netscape completely.
2) Open C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Users50\"your profile
name"something.slt\Mail\"the mail account name"
3) Copy only the mail boxes not the msf files and paste these items onto the
desktop.
4) Rename these boxes to unique mail folders names such as oldinbox6 or
oldsent6
5) Place these files into C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\"Your
profile"\Mail
6) Next time you launch Netscape Communicator with that profile your
Netscape 6 mail should be in the containers with the names you specified.
7) You can then import them into Outlook Express using File/Import/Messages.
