Re: OE6 shows MSOE error when Security update KB837009 is applied

I'd just run w/o that patch:

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-013: Cumulative Security Update for Outlook
Express (837009):
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms04-013.mspx

But, I'd make sure the first thing you do, when opening Outlook Express is
to click File/Work Offline and follow that with File/Folder/Compact All
Folders and let it run to completion.

Most msoe.dll errors are related to corrutption in one or more of the dbx
files in the message store folder. Compacting can often repair minor
corruption and prevent the error. Good luk.
