Posting this chapter of your ongoing problems to the *original* thread would
have been more preferable, Roger. If WU is still identifying 837009 as
being needed, post to Windows Update newsgroup for some suggestions.

<IMO> As for Norton GoBack, well, this wouldn't be the first time a Norton
product screwed up Windows and Windows Update.</IMO>
