Agreed. Another way to view the source without opening the message
is to use Forward as Attachment (Menu-w or Alt-M,d) and then drag
the attachment to a Notepad window (or any other application which
will receive the drag and drop and treat it as plain text.)
Besides making it much easier to browse the suspect message
there are several other advantages to this technique:
- you can select more than one message at a time
- you can edit the attachment list of the new E-mail you are creating
(e.g. delete ones you aren't concerned about)
- you can readily send or save ones you are considering following up
on (e.g. I have done this for batches of different offers of "cheap"
software to piracy@microcoft.com or to software@bsa.org )
- delete all the messages you have just finished processing
by pressing Shift-Delete
