You'll have to install an early version of Netscape, import your version 6
or 7
mail into that program and then import them from Netscape 4 into Outlook
Express. Or it's my understanding that Eudora version 3 can import from
Netscape 6 or 7 and you can import from Eudora into Outlook Express.
To do the import into Netscape 4 from 7, see the following:
1) Close all versions of Netscape completely.
2) Open C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Users50\"your profile
name"something.slt\Mail\"the mail account name"
3) Copy only the mail boxes not the msf files and paste these items onto the
desktop.
4) Rename these boxes to unique mail folders names such as oldinbox6 or
oldsent6
5) Place these files into C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\"Your
profile"\Mail
6) Next time you launch Netscape Communicator with that profile your
Netscape 6 mail should be in the containers with the names you specified.
7) You can then import them into Outlook Express using File/Import/Messages.
