Jim.
I ran the housecall antivirus,- found nothing. I don't think I have any
outlook Express Plugin,-
How do I find out?. Done scandisk and defrag. Ran my own anti virus
scanner(e trust EZ antivirus) which found and deleted msxmidi.exe described
as win32.winshow.o trojan.
None of the above changed the popup behavior.
I think your suspicion that it could be a software conflict with another
program is what I'm dealing with, but until I get the time to try and back
track software installs that were done after I upgraded to IE/OE 6(IE/OE 5.5
did not have this problem), or any more things to try based on your advice,
I guess I'm going to have to live with this.
Thank you for your time and effort.
