Carolyn,
So you are using web-based email as opposed to POP3 email? AT & T is your
internet service provider (ISP), and your email resides on their servers.
Outlook Express is an email client. You use Outlook Express to read your
email, not connect to the internet. It goes out to the AT & T email servers
and retrieves your email for you. Two different things. Make sure that you
have unselected OE as your email client. You should be able to check your
email on the web, at the AT & T website of course, regardless of whether or
not OE is your email client.
