Thanks for the quick reply and apologies for lack of
detail in my previous msg. I'm using XP Home and IE 6.0
Outlook Express 6.0. Had the same problem before with XP
Biz.
The OE error msg says,
"The connection to the server has failed.
Account:'pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Server. 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com',Protocol:SMTP, Port 25,
Secure(SSL):No, Socket Error.
10051, Error Number:0x800CCC0E"
End of msg. Clear as mud to me.
I get that msg whether I have under Outgoing Mail
Server, "My server requires authentication" checked or
not checked.
