Export the accounts from out of OE (Tools | Accounts | Mail tab then click
on each and export it to an AIF file which you can import back into OE.
Remove all the account but the default.
Restart Windows and then fire up OE.
Import the accounts back in and see if it's still happening.
I'm suspecting you are still using the Main Identity (the original Identity
set up when OE first started). This places the Internet Accounts Manager use
in the old OE4 location (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Accounts Manager).
When a new Identity is create, the IAM is placed within the Identity subkey
for that Identity.
>From there, I can think of numerous routes to take such as removing all
accounts and resetting them up manually, creating a new Identity and testing
it from there, clearing the Identities subkey as though OE had never run
before thus prompting you to create the first accounts and several other
things.
