Assuming WinXP:

The "you need SP1" error, in its oblique way, is telling you that your OE
(and IE, prolly) is fully up-to-date, Doug. It's best to rely on Windows
Updates for critical updates and patches rather than picking & choosing ones
you think you need. (See SP2 links in my sig, too.)

In WinXP, the font size in headers pane is controlled by your Windows
Display Settings.
