I went to the add/remove box and first ran the repair tool. No help, so I
uninstalled the programs. Then I went to Windows Update page and reinstalled
IE6, which included OE6. It must have still been stored in my temp files
from before. I have dial-up and the installation zipped through in seconds.
The ALT commands flowed smoothly through the menus, but with no results at
the end.
Next I'll take a crack at method 2 on
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=318378 .
Thanks,
Kevin
