When you reinstalled, did you do it like it is outlined here?

To reinstall or repair IE6 and OE:

Method 2 says it's for XP, but it works for all Window operating
systems except W95.

Also, just for kicks, try to send a page by holding Alt and tapping F
& E & P. It shouldn't make a difference, but.........
