Still no luck. I ran Ad-Aware and Spybot, but no help. The mail links on the
IE toolbar mail button are still inoperative. I feel like something was
altered when I installed the alternate browser and mail programs, but I
can't figure out what. I did check the registry again and the DLL path is OK
as per http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=306098 . Can I delete the registry
key for Hotmail? Could that have any effect? Also, if relevant, I am running
IE6 and OE6 on a machine with WIN98 SE.
Thanks again, and I will keep trying. I think small problems are the best
kind, as well as where I seem to learn the most valuable lessons.
