A current version of Outlook Express doesn't display the Received date in it
when it runs. It shows the column, but there is nothing in it.

I had thought it might have been a version difference, and upgraded Internet
explorer to the most current version, but it didn't change things.

Based on some information I received from here, I had created a new identity
(it was using the default main identity). I added one of the accounts to a
new named identity, and received new emails under that one. Same thing - no
dates on anything in the received column. I tried importing messages from
the old identity, and they were the same way.

I've disabled background compacting, and performed manual compaction of the
folders while offline, but that's not fixed the problem. Virus scanning on
emails was also disabled.

So far, nothing has worked. Could it be something has changed with my ISP's
mail service? If so, what?

Any ideas as to how to get the received date back on new emails?

Thanks,

SC
