ftp Hotfix - ftp download won't work

G'day

My IE6 on XP won't download from ftp servers - at all.

I found this info:

I had already installed the latest Security Patch for Internet Explorer
(MS04-004) via Windows Update.

I'm now trying to find the "supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft."

Can anyone help please?
