    The truth is, of course, that it's the OE6 software that
    bugs out - or at least can't handle the situation that
    occurs. Errors in the network would hardly eradicate
    emails that I copied to a local folder!!! I'd also find
    it less irritating with the web interface if I wasn't on
    a slow modem connection... Thanks for your help though!
    Majorgeeks probably has a reasonably priced email client
    I can use with my state-of-the-art Windows XP setup... :-(
