This month I installed spybot search & distroy to make
our PC safer.
Each time I run the software it finds 5 problems.
HKEY_user. Spybolt says this is a registry change and
that a security hole in internet explorer allows websites
to exicute code without asing me first!
I followed the links to Microsoft without finding a
remidy. The other link goes to
WWW.greymagic.co./security/advisors/gm001-ie/
This information means nothing to me, to technical. But
this does worry me.
I followed link to windows update at microsoft as usual,
yet the hole still exists.
Are my details vonerable with this whole?
Can anyone direct me to a link to repare this hole please?
My operation suystem is as follows:
windows XP version 5.1. I think service pack 1
DirectX 9.0b
Internet explorer 6.0.2800 xpsp2.030422-1633
Norton antivirus 2003
Respectfully yours Martin
