This is a 2-step process. There is an option on OE to not integrate. There
is also an option on Instant Messenger (preference) not to integrate. The
below text was copied from my files but speaks of AOL. The same procedure
should apply. Simply replace AOL with MSN. May be some differences but you
should be able to work through it.
Solution:
1. In AOL-> Tools|Option|?. Uncheck the box to automatically startup AOL.
If this does not work, also try number two.
2. If you prefer not to have AIM integrated into Outlook Express, go to the
Sign On/Off preferences category in AIM and disable the "Make AIM my default
instant messaging program" option. Restart your computer.
