Probably because her newsreader is difficult to navigate, and the
arrangement of the groups is not entirely user friendly. I've been there,
and tried accessing these groups in a web browser; it is an awful
experience. I know she is accessing the web view by her headers:

X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000

If you haven't tried the web view of these groups, head over to the MSFT
site, and click on support. About two thirds of the way down is a link to
get here. The groups are not presented in a single, flat manner, as they are
in your news client; which I see by your headers is:

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1437

That is probably the weakest newsreader on the market; there are superior
news readers which are equally as free as MSOE. Like mine; check my headers.
