What is Mom's ISP now? Does she connect using Dial-up or DSL? Was any
software installed from the SBC/Yahoo CD?
Does Mom have multiple email accounts? Is Mom sending from a name@aaris.net
account, a name@yahoo.com account, or...?
Is Mom an MSN subscriber? Is MSN8 or MSN9 installed?
Mom's machine *should* be running a firewall. If it's a DSL connection, a
router would prolly suffice. NAV's Email Protection should be disabled but
NAV's AutoProtect should be *enabled*. NAV *should* be configured to
seek/download updates and then scan daily. More at...
