Did you choose Delete it, or Delete from server? Delete it only sends
it to the Deleted Items folder and you also have to check Stop
processing more rules. Delete it from server does just that, and you
don't see the message.
Did you add the letters and numbers *One at a time* and click Add
before entering the next letter?
When you were done entering the letters, did you click the Options
button and change it to Does not contain.....
If you chose Delete from server, move the rule to the top of the
list.
