As DGuess says, MSOE is not designed to share the message store. One way
around it is to set MSOE to leave messages on the server for 'x' number of
days (I think you can specify days to wait before deletion); then access
from each client before the time limit.
I get around it by running a local-only IMAP server (you can't reach it from
the Internet). The MTA I use has a POP3 client to poll the account, and pull
the messages to a local store. Then they are available to any computer on
the LAN with an IMAP email client.
Under my system, you would set up MSOE to use the local IMAP server in place
of the POP3 server; you still configure it to send through the ISP's SMTP
server.
