I thought that Received was a default column but perhaps not
(or perhaps you have forgotten that you have unchecked it. <g>)
Try checking it. (Alt-V,C,R,Space) Then retry the View, Sort by.

Drat. The option is set in the Maintenance tab. I usually add the keystrokes
and rarely get a word back asking for clarification: Alt-T,O,Ctrl-Backtab,M
(Must prove that that notation helps.) After you do a Send/Receive you will have
two logs related to your POP3 accounts: POP3.log and SMTP.log in your
message store directory. The RETR should be found in the POP3.log
as the KB article shows. Turn the logging off before disconnecting or
OE may crash in shlwapi.dll. (Known bug.)

The one in the title I gave you KB155515.
Try a Google web search for that?

Yes. The option is in the advanced tab of your Mail account's Properties.
The server name is on the servers tab in the box labelled:
Incoming mail (POP3):

Clearer now? ;)
BTW if you disclosed your OS others might be able to assist
you better with other diagnostic opportunities.
