I am experiencing the very same error -have had this for several months-
I read and executed suggestions of running spywareblaster, spybot and also latest version/updates of my antivirus (AVG pro) and though it seem to work for a day , the same "MSIMN.Exe instruction 0x77f83905 reference memory at 0x009a4420 could not be written" when closing OE application. I will now try the suggestionin this discussion ie
2. Turn off Background Compaction. I will keep looking at this post which i have found with very interesting knowledge & experience. Thanks Ken and all who made suggestion.
