Hmm. I misread your original posts, then. I thought we ended up both
checked for that. I don't appear to have all of that Registry key,
either...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int
ernet Settings
...Mine stops at "...Microsoft\".
I do know my HOSTS file is working, as I see "Action Cancelled" embedded
in pages where it never did appear before. R-Clkng it, Properties, shows
it to be Ad related.
But you are XP, right? Things could be different there.
