Hi Timur,
The two programs were united into one program. DBXtend has DBXtract as the
front end and then has the back end to do the subsequent processing. But
then 2 years later I wrote DBXpress, which explains the difference. They
are also written in different languages, so merging them is not likely to
happen.
Now, I would recommend using DBXpress as the front end extraction engine and
then using DBXtend for subsequent processing, which is what I often do.
Both have command line options, which allows for automation via batch files.
