Well, it seems that an OE update in a service pack is
causing the folders to collapse upon exiting. Simple
solution, just mark any message in the folder as 'unread'
and make sure you have checked to 'keep open folders with
unread messages'. I just tried it and it kept my folders
open like before I installed updates from MS. I don't
like having unread messages, the bold font and (#) drives
me batty, but I prefer that over having my folders
closing on their own. None of the other 'fixes' worked
for me either.
