Unless you have a name like that in your address book
which can be matched (fully underlined) you would see
your symptom.

BTW links such as the above news: link usually work with Google Groups.
Unfortunately because a character in that link I gave is escaped
Google Groups misses an opportunity to create a link to its own
copy of that post. The post is included in the results of that search
I suggested but if you prefer you can use this repaired version:

The problem is that the percent sign is escaped as well which means
that the 23 won't be converted into a #. So the repair is to delete the
25 for the escaped percent sign from the link that Google provides:
