Need some help here please
I have tried all the ways I could find to make OE the default run c:program
files............ removing windows messaging, MS exchange ( way old
versions 95& 97 ). Just did a registry search and found many keys for
windows messaging and MS Exchange. Could these be the problem ? I think so,
but I have no Idea what keys to change or delete. Is there a good utility
any one knows of that will remove registry keys not being used. or does
anyone know how to fix this. When I am in news groups and I right click on
a message header, then click Forward, or forward as attachment I am asked
what profile to use (MS Mail) then a screen pops up with saved logon info, I
click ok and I get this message" Microsoft Mail postoffice could not be
found on C:\programFiles\Outlook Express". I thought I got rid of MS Mail,
but it seems to be reluctant to leave. I've been going nuts with this for
awhile now. also OE is the default news reader, and the forwarding works
fine with e-mails in OE.
