Ramesh - When I mentioned that all manner of SPAM floods
through, I should have said that prior to reading my mail
in OE I run MailWasher Pro to scan and filter all my
mail. This helps me decide what I want to keep and what
junk I want to delete before OE is opened.
BUT, because of this problem with the mailto: shortcut
automatically opening OE, MailWasher does not filter my
mail and everything starts to dlood into my open OE
inbox. I have to act quickly (very quickly) to stop this
mail downloading in order to create a new blank message,
ready to send to my recipient.
Hope this helps clear my previous explanation?
Cheers,
alba
