VIEWING NEWSGROUP MESSAGES

I want my "VIEW" option for newsgroup message to remain at
all times in "Display Answers to My POsts"(the condition
where my posts appear in red). But the menu selection
will not stay there; I have to shift it back there each
time after I leave the newsgroups. At one time I was
able to set it into the selection permanently but I cannot
now repeat that setup. Any ideas???
