OK, I'm stumped..... I've got a desktop running XP Pro with OE6. I've got a
new laptop running XP Home with OE6. I would like to copy my desktop's
address book to my laptop, to retain all the contacts and folders. I found
an MS Knowledge Base Article - 188854 that makes it sound easy. I thought I
did what it said: copy 1st computer's .wab file, find the right folder on
the second computer, rename the existing .wab, paste the 1st computer's wab
file, and rename if necessary. I did all that, but didn't work. When I
opened OE, the address was empty (I had a few previous entries) and now the
folder has two .wab files with the same name. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help,
~OC~
